I’m Sean, and I’m in my fourth and final year at Western Washington University graduating with a degree in Visual Journalism. During my time at Western, I’ve had the opportunity to work on several of our campus publications in various roles. I copy edited and reported for The Front, Western’s daily newspaper, and wrote feature stories as well as copy edited for Klipsun Magazine, our quarterly publication. In addition, I also designed pages for the student-run publication The Rage Magazine. My hybrid focus on writing, editing, and designing has given me a comprehensive understanding of the media production process, from the initial pitch to the polished finished product. 

 

I strive for both clarity and creativity in my work, making sure the content is both clearly communicated while also being visually engaging.
